New Brokers and Salespersons are required to complete Post-License education within
the first year of issuance of the license. Brokers must complete up to 30 classroom
hours and Salespersons 18 classroom hours. The Commission establishes the course
content. If the Post-License requirement is not completed within the first year of issuance
of the license the license will be placed on inactive status until completed. All post
license education must be conducted by actual classroom attendance. (See Commission
Regulation 11.5)
Post-Licensing Salesperson Course
(18 hour In Classroom Only)
Cost is $180.00
The 18 hour Post Licensing Salesperson Course was developed as a practical "how to"
course for Salespersons. The course covers completion of the most common contracts
and ends with the closing process. This is a great course for training new Salespersons
or updating seasoned Salespersons.
This is a 2-day (18 hour) course. It is offered on Friday and Saturday from 8:00am to
5:30pm (9 hours each day with a 30 minute lunch break). This course meets the 18 hour
requirement for the first year training required by the Arkansas Real Estate Commission for
salespersons licensed after January 1, 2002. Must be in classroom.

Post-Licensing Broker Course (30 hour In Classroom Only)
Cost is $300.00
The 30-hour Broker Course was developed as a practical "how to" course for Brokers. New Brokers are requred complete
30 hours of post-licensing education within 12 months of receiving their broker license.
The course consists of five 6-hour modules that cover (1)Practical Applications of Agency and Disclosure, (2)Real Estate
Contracts, (3)From Contracts to Closing, (4)Agent and Broker Responsibility, and (5)Real Estate Policies and Procedures.
This is a 3-day (30 hour) course. It is offered on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8:00am to 6:30pm (10 hours each
day with a 30 minute lunch break). This course meets the 30 hour post licensing requirement for first year Brokers. Must
be in classroom.
